Improved Clamping Method on Mufflers

A new mounting method (part# FD118) has been established for a solid, field serviceable muffler mounting clamp for the engine exhaust elbow with rain cap (#MS158).
The MS158 elbow is used whenever engine exhaust must be diverted away from bulk water tanks. The elbow was previously being attached with a pop rivet that under some circumstances could work loose and contribute to bulk tank heat damage from engine exhaust. The FD118 clamp and MS158 elbow are designed to work with 14, 16, and 18HP Vanguard Engines. If the engine is a Kohler 20, 25, 27HP or a 21HP Vanguard use muffler elbow part# MKD02, that includes the attachment clamp.  Replacement clamps can also be ordered, using the same part number FB118.
